Japanese press vinyl records are renowned worldwide for their sound quality and material durability. Thanks to mastering by Japanese engineers, they offer a richer and more detailed listening experience. Additionally, the high value placed on vinyl in Japan and well-preserved collections increase the chances of finding records in excellent condition. The inclusion of Obi (an information strip on the side of the cover) and extra content makes Japanese press vinyl especially appealing to collectors.
Obi is a colorful strip or label that comes with Japanese press vinyl, typically containing Japanese information. It is a detail unique to Japan. An insert is a booklet or additional informational material included with the vinyl. It may contain lyrics, album details, or special content about the artist. Obi and inserts enhance a record's originality and collectible value.
